I connected with DownEast through the PENCILZ AGENCY during the early months of my new business. It was awesome to be given such creative freedom: producing a mix of short-form video ads to promote the brand and bring some new creative flare.
I crafted some nuanced, rich, and hilarious content, and many of these ads performed well! It was a defining phase in my career, pushing the boundaries of creation and filming alone in the studio for hours on end with no assistance and minimal feedback. I had to trust my gut and forge ahead with whatever creative ideas and scripts had formulated that month.
The DownEast ads are some of my favorite videos to this day.
