A Yogi-Musician turned cinematographer – founder of LXR PRODUCTIONS, a one-man content production powerhouse based in Montreal.
The camera unlocked a new dimension of reality. It gave us the ability to capture and relive life the way we wanted to see it: raw, honest, beautifully objective. When I later discovered the power of video editing in a high school class – how I could arrange random scenes into a cohesive narrative by stitching them together with music – I was hooked.
Over time, I came to see filmmaking as more than just documenting life. It was the modern incarnation of the timeless art of storytelling – a way to communicate something real and memorable, to move people, to make them feel something, or even shift how they see the world.
As a grown man, I’m now a longtime meditator, certified yoga teacher, world traveler, university-trained musician and audio engineer, runner, kettlebell-head, snowboarder, songwriter, and dog lover.
I listen to Afrobeat, Indian Raga, Roots Reggae, Hip Hop, Downtempo, and Musical Theatre… anything with a soul and a story to tell. I’ve also released three full-length albums of my own music and toured across Canada performing it. I’ve traveled to 17 countries (and counting), and although my heart will always belong to the oceans of British Columbia where I grew up – the wider world is where I call my home.
I’ve worked and collaborated with people from all walks of life, in various disciplines including music, theatre, dance, sports, and filmmaking. I know how to create ease and trust in processes that are commonly intimidating – like being on camera, singing, or speaking in public. People have often said I have a kind heart and a sincere, grounded presence – I bring this into everything I do without exception.
Bottom line – I care. I’m here to help you say something that matters, and make sure your audience hears it too.
